Meet the team
Brooke Sarno, LCSW
You may appear to have things together on the outside while privately struggling with anxiety, emotional exhaustion, burnout, or the effects of past trauma. Many of the people I work with find themselves constantly overthinking, people pleasing, struggling to set boundaries, or feeling stuck in patterns that continue affecting their relationships, self-worth, and emotional well-being.
Therapy can help you better understand these patterns, process difficult experiences, and begin creating meaningful and lasting change. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel safe slowing down, exploring what you’ve been carrying, and reconnecting with yourself.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings with individuals from diverse backgrounds. My approach is person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed, tailored to your individual needs and goals.
I am also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a SAMHSA-recognized, evidence-based approach used to treat trauma, anxiety, and distressing experiences, often completed in fewer sessions than traditional talk therapy. In addition, I utilize Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), an evidence-based treatment effective in reducing PTSD symptoms and helping clients challenge unhelpful trauma-related beliefs.
Together, we work toward reducing anxiety, improving emotional balance, developing healthier relationships and boundaries, and helping you feel more grounded, connected, and empowered in your life.
If you feel I may be the right fit for your needs, I welcome you to reach out.
